Student Art on Exhibit
Take a moment to peruse the student paintings in the small gallery in the Burgin Center, on display until January 28. “This group of students clicked in a big way,” says fine arts faculty member Mark Flowers. Among the budding artists from the fall term’s Painting I class are: Tony Truitt ’09, Clay Young ’08, Rachael Porter ’09, Lilly Smith ’08, Lauren Kecskes ’10, Linda Echtermeyer ’09, Anika Kempe ’09, and Emily Weiss ’08. “This was an unusually strong group who really popped the landscape,” Flowers says.
