Parents Linking Together in Support of Mercersburg

A valuable way to share in your son or daughter's Mercersburg experience is to join Parents Linking Together in Support (PILOTS) of Mercersburg. PILOTS offers a number of rewarding ways for parents, grandparents, and families to get involved and share ideas. For example:

• Providing programming input to Mercersburg staff. PILOTS have given invaluable advice and feedback about family weekends, special events and the parents’ newsletter.  
• Hosting local social events. In the Mercersburg area, PILOTS serve as hosts and information resources during events such as summer send-off parties, athletic competitions, Inbound, and Family Weekends.
• Promoting regional social events. Some PILOTS attend regional school fairs to help promote and recruit for Mercersburg. Many host regional Mercersburg gathering.  They also act as goodwill ambassadors in their areas by telephoning current families to encourage their attendance at Family Weekends and other events.
• Supporting fund-raising efforts. PILOTS participate in the annual fund, making phone calls from the comfort of your home or at a fun-filled on-campus phonathon.
