5:45 p.m. JV Field Hockey vs Forbes Road HS
Liza Rizzo continued her high scoring with two of Mercersburg's three goals, leading the Blue Storm to a 3-1 victory over Forbes Road (PA).  Sarah Wilson added a goal, as Mercersburg (3-1) pulled away in the second half. Nicole Abib had six saves in goal for the Storm.

Sabina Rizzo was a force in the midfield and did a great job of getting the ball wide to her wings so they could bring it down the field for a shot on goal. Paige Summers also had a great game on defense. She consistently was able to take the ball away from the attack before they were able to set up any scoring opportunities. 

"This game was another game where every member played a key role in the victory," commented coach Susan Hutchins, who also noted that the JV team has now outscored its opponents 23-4 thus far this season.
