6:00 p.m. JV Field Hockey vs St. James School
Mercersburg (4-1) took control early and kept St. James on the defensive for most of the contest, as the Storm downed the Saints 3-0.  Mercersburg captured its third consecutive win by taking 27 shots on goal while limiting their local rival to just two shots.  The Storm scattered the scoring, as Sarah Wilson, Shelley LaMotte, and Liza Rizzo each scored. 

"Sabina Rizzo and Georgia Baker played very well in the midfield. Leigh Saner took charge on defense and was consistent when it came to getting the ball out of the scoring circle.  It was another fantastic team effort," commented coach Susan Hutchins, whose team has only given up two goals in the last three games.
