Mercersburg cruised to victory over an improved team from Notre Dame Academy (VA).  The Blue Storm swept the singles competition in convincing fashion and played three fine doubles matches.  Nikki Wolny, Lena Finucane, Valerie Garcia, Caro Oetzbach, Lucia Rowe, and Sarah Allen all claimed singles victories, while the #1 doubles of Wolny/Finucane and the #2 doubles of Garcia/Rowe both also won their matches.  

"The #1 singles match between Nikki Wolny of Mercersburg and Sunnie Lampl of Notre Dame produced some of the best points and finest overall shot-making of the season so far," commented coach Mike Sweeney, whose team moved to 2-0 on the season.
