Mercersburg welcomed 68 students from 17 countries and sovereign areas in summer 2007 for its highly recognized Intensive English Language Programs. Students from Europe, Asia and South America engaged in demanding academic studies, traveled on exciting cultural trips, and made friends with other students through fun social and athletic activities.

Both the Senior Program and the Junior Program feature a comprehensive and stimulating curriculum that improves communication skills in English speaking, listening, writing, and reading.

Content areas include concentrations in writing, grammar, conversation, TOEFL practice and preparation, American culture, United States history, and geography.
